Hawksland supports the conversion of PAX aircraft into Freighters

Hawksland Associates has supported its client - a major aircraft conversion and maintenance, repair and overhaul services provider with the conversion of several wide-body passenger aircraft into freighters.

Hawksland Associates has been assigned to support its client Project Manage and Project Engineer the conversion of an aging fleet of widebody passenger aircraft into freighters. Responsibities include the management of the complete supply chain for supplying all bought-in components, manufacturing engineering, integration and installation management of the newly acquired parts and swap-out of old / end-of-life LRU and structural components. In addition, Hawksland Associates has worked closely with its clients other appointed consultants and supported the development and introduction of KANBAN and Just-in-time manufacturing systems.
