Bob Griffiths

With over 40 years experience in the Aerospace industry Bob is a retired President of SAMPE International, the leading materials and processing technical organisation and has an extensive breadth of knowledge and contacts in the Aerospace Composites Industry. Bob previously was GKN’s Technical Sales Executive and Head of Manufacturing Technology at Westland Helicopters before becoming a consultant. Today, Bob is considered a world-leading authority in the field of Aerospace Composites and Manufacturing Engineering Technologies.

He advises leading OEM’s such as Airbus, EADS and Alcoa and other leading aerospace manufacturing companies on strategy and technologies with respect to the composites and advanced materials fields and in particular specialises in the area of aerospace composites 'out-of-autoclave' technologies, processes and value engineering. 

Bob also works as a Consultant working on Market, Manufacturing & Design studies in European Aerospace Companies and on Business Development for High Technology European, Australian and US Corporations. Bob also conducts market and technical evaluation of companies. He has worked in the UK, USA, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, France & Spain.
